Hi, My name is Ghada, a certified nutritional practitioner in the making. I have a passion for healthy living, baking, and making things from scratch. I invite you to join me in my journey towards all things health & wellness. And by that, I don’t mean perfection. What I am after is a balance between the good and the not-so-good with a lot more good, hopefully!

Clean Yum was born out of a desire to change the way we view and consume sweets & snacks. The majority of us enjoy desserts & sweets a lot or in moderation. There’s always a feeling of guilt when we do. This feeling stems from the fact that most ready-made and a lot of home-made recipes call for carb and sugar-loaded ingredients that are not ideal if one’s goal is to improve and maintain a healthy life style.

I am no different than the majority in that I love to eat and enjoy sweets & desserts. Additionally, I am constantly trying to achieve optimum health to make the best out of this life time & body I am embracing. I spend a lot of time modifying & healthyfing recipes to make them more nutritious without sacrificing the enjoyment that is brought upon by eating something delicious. Swapping whole flour for more nutrient-dense flours, using less sweeteners and choosing ones that are more wholesome, adding healthy seeds & nuts for more fibre & healthy fats. These are some of the things I do to make sweets & snacks yummy healthier without compromising taste and yummness.
